Description

Win Steve’s BMW R1300GS Adventure TE ASA

This is not just another BMW R1300GS Adventure. This is the A Bike Thing development bike — used for product testing, filming, exhibitions and showcasing some of the latest motorcycle technology available.

The Bike

  • Model: BMW R1300 GS Adventure TE ASA
  • First registered: 24 October 2024
  • Mileage: approximately 2,907 miles at time of publication
  • History: full BMW service history
  • Included: full BMW OEM aluminium luggage

The Story Behind This Bike

Purchased new by A Bike Thing when the BMW R1300GS Adventure was first released, this bike has played a huge part in our development work on the R1300 platform.

It completed its running-in mileage on a 450-mile trip around Wales, then travelled to Milan for EICMA where the majority of its mileage was covered. In Spring 2025, Steve took it into the Peak District for the day. Since then, it has lived indoors in our showroom and has mainly been used to demonstrate, develop and showcase new products.

To prepare it for this prize draw, we removed the protective A Bike Thing graphics that have been protecting the paintwork and carried out one final build using some of our favourite upgrades, including brand-new and prototype products.

Why are we raffling this bike?

As exciting as this bike has been, development moves quickly. New products, new platforms and new opportunities mean it’s time for our development bike to begin its next adventure with one lucky winner while helping us fund the next generation of A Bike Thing projects.
