This is your chance to own the A Bike Thing R1300GSA — custom built, zero miles, and originally the grand prize of our 2025 charity raffle which you can see here 

When the raffle winner chose the cash alternative, it created a second opportunity to raise even more money for Derbyshire Blood Bikes. BMW have agreed to register the bike at the end of December, giving us the window to auction it before registration.

Where the Money Goes

• The first £22,000 covers the cash alternative already paid to the raffle winner.

• 100% of all funds above £22,000 will be donated directly to Derbyshire Blood Bikes.

• Last month’s raffle already raised £20,000 thanks to the winner’s generosity — this auction adds a second round of fundraising.

Payment Terms

Payment must be made by bank transfer only. No credit or debit cards, PayPal, Klarna or other methods will be accepted.

The winning bidder must complete the bank transfer within 24 hours of the auction ending unless otherwise agreed.

Failure to pay within the deadline will result in the offer being passed to the next highest bidder.

Why You Should Pay the Deposit Early

As we get closer to the end of the auction, bids come in fast.
To keep everything fair, every bidder must have:

• A registered A Bike Thing account

• A verified name, address and phone number

• A £100 refundable deposit paid

If your deposit is not received, your bids cannot be accepted.

Deposit Deadlines

• If you place a bid at any time during the week → you have 24 hours to pay the deposit

• If you bid in the final hours → you must pay the deposit within 1 hour before the auction ends

• If no deposit is received within these timeframes → your bid will be removed

We will attempt to contact you by phone if we see a bid without a deposit, but in the final hour this may not be possible.

Final Hour Livestream

During the last hour of the auction, Steve will be live on our YouTube channel, monitoring all bids in real time and verifying deposits as they come in.
This is to keep everything transparent, fair, and fully accountable.
