BHP-UK have just released their brand-new Stainless Steel Decat Exhaust Headers for the BMW R1300GS & R1300GSA – available for pre-order now and due for release in October.
Designed as a cost-effective alternative to the more expensive titanium systems in the market place, these headers bring far more than just savings. BHP have completely re-engineered the factory design to create a stronger, smarter solution:
Optimised sensor placement – The lambda sensors have been relocated inside the horseshoe bend of each front header pipe. This not only protects them from flying stones (a real concern for off-road riders) but also gives the headers a cleaner, sleeker look.
Maximised flow & performance – Tube diameters have been carefully optimised to achieve the best possible flow without producing an obnoxious exhaust note.
Advanced X-pipe design – The integrated taper in the X-pipe creates a Venturi effect, improving scavenging and ensuring maximum efficiency across the rev range.
Stainless steel construction – Durable, cost-effective, and built to withstand the toughest conditions.
To unlock the full performance potential of these headers, they require a BHP-UK custom remap. The map is specifically tuned to work with these headers and is also available directly through us.
